The Cranberry Lake Mountaineers Snowmobile Club encourages family participation, young and old alike, in the sport of snowmobiling! Our membership numbers have ballooned in the last few years, resulting in an increase in traffic on the trails.
Recently, we have seen an uptick in reckless behavior on the trails. Excessive speed, riding in the center or on the left side of the trail, and not yielding to groomers is extremely reckless behavior and not only endangers you, but other riders as well. Ride safe, ride smart.
Do not ruin the sport for yourself or someone else by being the cause of an accident... no matter the severity.
If you cannot ride responsibly, STAY OFF THE TRAILS!
Located in the northern foothills of the New York Adirondacks, the Cranberry Lake Mountaineer Snowmobile Club (CLMSC) has a membership roster of over 400 individuals and families. We would love to see those number increase this year so click on our Join our Club page and help us out. Our members enjoy some of the least crowded groomed trails in all of New York State. The main corridor Trail 8 runs right through our system with connections to main corridor Trail 7, giving access to the Canadian border and Old Forge/Tug Hill.
